Our mission is simple: to provide the safest, most memorable, and eco-friendly snorkeling experience in Honolulu. We believe in Malama Kai (caring for the ocean). seeing Hawaii's 'Honu' (Green Sea Turtles) in their natural habitat is a privilege, and we're passionate about sharing it with you responsibly.

Unlike crowded tour operators, we focus on small groups to ensure a personal connection with our crew and a respectful encounter with wildlife.

Ken Goetz brings a unique background to the tour industry. As a seasoned corporate event planner and logistics expert, he founded Honolulu Snorkeling Tour to solve a common problem: disorganized, overcrowded tourist traps.

Ken applies professional B2B event planning standards to your vacation. This means our tours are managed with seamless logistics, strict timetables, and an unwavering commitment to quality and safety. We don't just "go for a boat ride"—we execute a well-planned ocean adventure.

Our Commitment to Safety

Your safety is our absolute priority. We operate a 36' private tour boat maintained to the highest standards. Our captain and crew are CPR/First Aid certified and trained in lifeguard rescue techniques.

Our Boat & Safety Features:

  • USCG Certified: Our vessel meets all Coast Guard safety regulations.
  • Emergency Gear: VHF marine radio, GPS, and EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon).
  • Medical Support: On-board emergency oxygen and First Aid kits.
  • Flotation: High-visibility life jackets (PFDs) and throwable rings.
  • In-Water Support: Guides carry rescue tubes and stay with the group.

Eco-Tourism & Sustainability

We are guests in the turtle's home. To protect the delicate coral reef ecosystem at Turtle Canyon, we strictly adhere to eco-tourism best practices:

  • Reef-Safe Only: We encourage the use of reef-safe sunscreen (no oxybenzone).
  • No Touch Policy: We enforce a strict "look but don't touch" policy for turtles and coral.
  • Plastic Reduction: We minimize single-use plastics on board to keep our ocean clean.
